Is this bird flying over the water with shadow a seagull? I wish to use your image for my blog avatar.

No it is not a seagull, but some other sort of sea bird.
You are most welcome to use it on your blog, it sort of looks like a seagull, but there is a different feel to this bird. I see you have linked to my blog, thanks.
Hay Walter, I tried to send you a message a while back but I do not think it worked. Computer wise I am no more then a baby bird.
