As I did these I had big canvases in mind, at least 1 meter square. So the image on the screen does not do justice to my vision. The printing might! I also imagined a triptych some how… with that in mind I have some triptychs coming up.

A while back, when I did my last big post up, I commented that one of the Red Light images, which I thought was simple at the time, could be tighened up. The next four were done following that idea.

Had a great conversation with my friend Brian about the relationship between info and objects. He summed up an idea that has been bubbling in my blog posts with these words “born digital”. That is a central realization in the Thousand Sketches project. Art is either born physical, and then described or photographed to be digital, or it is born digital and made physical, it can have many physical forms.
