I am reading Eric Maisel’s “A Writer’s San Francisco” Here is a quote from p 110
Isn’t
writingsketching everyday the best sitting meditation?”
I am substituting sketching for writing is I read the book. I will be in San Francisco in a month or so, and reading Eric Maisel’s book is a great preparation.

I am doing more colour, more digital paint. So old patterns return, but the media changes, and I am enjoying the paint. Unlike some of the other media, with paint it makes me want to use real paint. (have discussed this here before, see here)

Read this post Here. Yellow circle in my life.
I did this one blind (almost). It is a sketch. I coloured in the spoon rather carefully and with metallic silver… not sure if it prints that well though.
One reason it is here & not deleted like a lot of others is that I like the background, and the added painterliness, something the earlier autopix did not have.
If the silver does not print well, then I could always add it in some other way. John Badcock uses gold plate in some of his. paintings.

It was not really half way on the walk, but it is a nice title for the sketch anyway. And it is half way through the 1000 – I may be a bit behind, but pleased to have made it thus far.
On a recent walking trip with friends from to Sumner to Taylors Mistake and back.
